"Look again at what is left, for there still is beauty in what remains".

As I was walking on the beach I picked up a seashell that caught my eye as it glistened in the water. Then I quietly heard Holy Spirit speak: "there is beauty in these parts". As I further contemplated, it was impressed upon me that these shells were symbolic of people. The leftover parts of ourselves after all the pain, trauma and many difficulties in life. After much has been taken from us or done to us and we don't feel all in one piece; the Lord is saying something quite the opposite. He is wanting us, to show us, and even challenge us, to see ourselves in our brokenness as if we are whole! Our leftover parts of us are still full of life and worth, and beautiful expressions of our heavenly Father! When parts of us are missing or parts have been crushed, Look again at what is left for there still is beauty in what remains!
